A Few Things I'm Loving Right Now..

beauty kitchen favorite things

Bobbi Brown's Hydrating Eye Cream

About a month ago, I invited my favorite MUA from MAC into the salon for a little bit of learning. She was more than happy to come give us a class and needless to say we learned a ton and it was loads of fun!
I have really been wanting to amp up my skills for clients and Paula is always willing to help me and answer any questions I throw at her.
In the class, she gave us a list of her favorites for her kit, which I have slowly started adding a few for my upcoming weddings.

This has definitely turned out to be one of my faves and Paula showed us how to use on our eyebrows as well. My eyebrows actually grow in a downward direction so annoying and this has really helped to hold them in the direction I want them to go. Another bonus: when I fill in my eyebrows it helps hold the pigment! Lasts all day!

Mary Kay Timewise Body Toning Lotion

For Christmas my Aunt got me a bottle to start applying to my belly. She says a few directors used it during their pregnancy and they didn't get a single stretch mark. While I realize stretch marks can be hereditary and based on the elasticity in your skin, I am still willing to try anything to help prevent them! I'm even using it on my thighs and rear. It's not sticky at all and there isn't really a smell either!

Young Living Peppermint Oil

This is pretty much the only thing that is helping me breathe right now! My nose has been SO stopped up! I love using my diffuser but since my sniffer has been on a total different level these days I just have to sniff the bottle a little bit.
And, as you can see, it's great for a number of things! I love quite a bit of their oils! Joy smells the BEST!

Pampered Chef Mix 'N Chop

This is THE best kitchen item on my list right now.  Shreds chicken like a boss and super easy to get clean. I mean it can shred the chicken in the smallest pieces. Perfect for my Paleo Chicken Salads I have been making lately.

The Happiest Baby on the Block / What to Expect When You're Expecting

If you are expecting your first, I recommend these two books. I have been SO BLESSED by friends and clients handing me over their stash... I haven't had to buy the first one! Over the past couple of weeks, I have started both of these and so far they have been great!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

We are halfway to Friday! Whooo hoo!
I am one more day closer to seeing my handsome honey.
Just to update you guys a little baseball is definitely in full swing and I have definitely been missing my boo! The puppies, chickens, errands, and work yesterday have certainly been keeping me busy. After a busy week, I do have this weekend off and hope to see Coach and his players on the field in the A-T-L. Love watching him do what he loves!
The puppies are super cuddly and loving when he is gone... they love their Momma! Speaking of loving here is what I am loving on this Wednesday!

I am LOVING T25!
Today I am on Week 5 Day 3 and feeling awesome!! Shaun T is da bomb dot com. I loved Insanity but I think this takes the cake. Twenty-five minutes and you are donzo. There are days when I do a little more but I want to see what this program does alone. This was taken on the 24th. BETA week is next week and I'm a tad bit nervous to see what it's all about!

I am LOVING these clouds!
I was laying out one afternoon and these clouds showed up.. a scary thunderstorm followed not too long afterwards. I sat for a bit and watched the clouds move in all different direction before I had to go in. Love seeing the sky in all its different forms.

I am LOVING my last minute GNO with Karen.
She has been an awesome addition to the Sassafras all the way from Hawaii! We absolutely love her! We had so much fun painting Sanford Stadium and can't wait to get back for the next class!

I am LOVING my new kicks my boo surprised me with!
They are super comfy and feel so good to my feet. I have had my other ones for about 5 years now.
It was definitely time for a new pair.

I am LOVING this anklet jewelry!
I saw Litter on Shark Tank a couple months ago one night watching TV with Coach. I love love love their stuff! So unique and creative.

I am LOVING that Sox is going to be OK!
We think she had a little accident playing too hard with Mara but with a little meds she will be back to normal soon!
We also found out she has a bit of arthritis and hip displaysia in her right hip, but the vet said glucosamine would definitely help her. She just also needs to take it easy for the next 10 days or so. We will keep her on the glucosamine from now on. Bless her heart we hate to see her limping around.

Have a fabulous Wednesday!

Sunday Social//Week 86//Favorite Beauty Products

Happy Sunday everyone! It is actually a little warmer here in the South.. Praise the Lord! I have not been able to get warm lately! I will have to admit yesterday I wore my workout pants under cotton yoga pants and a tank top, long sleeve UnderArmor shirt, and my workout pullover on top of that. Oh yes, with a huge scarf. I think by 4PM yesterday afternoon I finally began to warm up some.

It has been awhile linking up with Ashley and Neely but here I am for today's questions on my favorite beauty products!

1. How old were you when you started wearing makeup?

When I turned 13, my Mom started letting me wear powder (just to get rid of the shine on my face), mascara, and maybe even lipgloss. She was pretty strict about what all I had on my face.

2. What are your top 3 favorite beauty products?

In no special order..

Source
Since being introduced to blinc, I have NOT been able to stick to any other but this one. This mascara actually tubes your lashes instead of painting them. There is nothing more irritating for me to have flakes of mascara fall into my contacts. I wear hard contacts and that just makes it even worse. It absolutely does not smudge or run down my face if I get teary eyed. It is a little more expensive but I can cut back on something else because it's worth it for me!

I used to be a CHI junkie and this blows CHI out of the water. I have had this same iron for over two years and it hasn't given me one bit of trouble yet.. knock on wood.. The plates are AWESOME and get the hair so smooth and I love that you can adjust the heat.

Source
My grandmother got me something similar to this a few years ago and I have salvaged every bit of it because whoever made it stopped production. She was even so generous to give me my Mom's because I loved it so much. (My Mom didn't like it) SO for Christmas I was surprised with the above by Mally. It. Is. Awesome. I have never had to battle dark under eye circles but there is just something about this brightener being around the eye that helps brighten me up!! I think it also help reduce the appearance of puffiness. Bonus!

3. What is one makeup product you don't leave home without?

or my new favorite eos. I love that it's organic too!

Coach even picked this up last night, used it himself, and said, "Man you could really eat that stuff!" HA!

4. What is your daily beauty routine?

I always start with my face first.. Mally under eye brightener, eyeshadow base, eyeshadow, eyeliner, foundation, blush.. then off to hair drying, flat iron or curl.. and then I actually put my mascara on last. The way I dry my bangs down I feel like the heat makes my eyelashes straight again (I have to curl them!)

5. What is your favorite hair/makeup product you've discovered in the last year?

You can check that out in this post! I am still doing this and my face feels wonderful!! And I have saved so much $$$ not buying Obaji cleanser and moisturizer.

Sunday Social

Happy Sunday everyone and Go Dawgs!! More on our fun yesterday later but for now time for SS!

1. What is currently on your wish list?

An iPad and

a 50mm lens for my Nikon.

2. Share a new iPhone, droid, iPad app that you have recently discovered that we all need.

Google Image

One of my clients told me about this a couple of weeks ago. It's a storage app for your photos and videos. It's free to download, you get up to 2GB of storage for free, it uploads all your photos/videos/documents from anywhere and it's super easy to share them!! I am a picture LOVER and it is really helping with the storage problem on my phone. (My pictures are what takes up most of my storage.) Haven't had one problem with it yet!

3. What is a new fall TV show that you have added to your DVR?

Confession. We don't have DVR. All I ask is I have Thursday nights for my Grey's Anatomy and Scandal. I don't sit long enough to watch anything else except for Friend's reruns at night.

4. Share your social media links so we can follow you. (Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Tell us which is your favorite and why.

Pinterest- http://www.pinterest.com/hairazr/boards/
Twitter- https://twitter.com/haiRazr
Instagram- http://instagram.com/hopper11_17

I love Instagram! I love 'editing' my photos and seeing everyone's pictures and its less dramatic than Facebook. I don't have to see everyones 'drama'.. just pictures.

5. What is a TV show, movie, or song that you could watch or listen to over and over and never get tired of?

I can never get tired of Sweet Home Alabama!

Hope you all have a wonderful afternoon!

5 on Friday

November 1st? I think everyone would agree with me on where has the time gone? I can't believe in sixteen more days I will be married for a whole year! So crazy to think about.. seems like yesterday I was running around wild and crazy with family trying to get everything ready for the Big Day.

(1)
I am so excited to have my Boo home after another season of travel baseball. As I have said before, I love him doing what he is passionate about and loves but by the end of the season I am about to lose my sanity. I am BEYOND thrilled, excited, happy happy happy, thrilled, excited, happy happy happy, and feeling blessed blessed blessed for us to have a 1 Year Anniversary trip coming up soon! Can. Not. Wait. to get there!

(2)
I am feeling a tad more refreshed today with some time off yesterday. I did an updo early in the morning--

.. and then was actually able to take a midday nap AND make a Kickboxing class! Which takes me to-

(3)
OH. WOW.

I had never done it before and it was awesome! I am SO sore today but not complaining because it tells me I got a great workout. It was also good doing something new for a change.

(4)
We I decided to carve our pumpkin last night. It was, after all, Halloween. Better late than never right? Coach and I have always done it together and now that the season is finally over we finally got the chance. Thought it turned out pretty good to be free hand!

(5)
So excited to have this weekend off again!! This is the last weekend to go thru the cornmaze around these parts so I think Coach and I are going to try for that tomorrow. It's supposed to be beautiful and 66*. PERFECT. He may even try to get in the woods for a little hunting. I will be so happy for him if he does but honey, after this one--

-- I think there will be enough eyes in the house staring at us. Love you Coach!

Christmas Come Early

I have THE Bestest. Friend. Ever.
You should probably be jealous.
I would be.

Wednesday I get a Facebook message saying that Amber had a little something for me at her house. I headed on over to her casa after work and was surprised with this:

HOW FLIPPIN' AWESOME AND SWEET!!!
I am SO excited to have this and can't wait to try and duplicate some of these ideas for Christmas this year. This chick is all about some decorating for the holidays! Thanksgiving will be here before you know it and then it is GAME ON for the decor!
My husband may just retire to the woods when all the shenanigans begin.

I just wanted to share a few of my faves I have seen so far.

The pales as stockings on the fireplace. ADORABLE!!

A canvas painted with cordless lights.

So many cookies to choose from for Christmas parties and baking with the family!

Calendar to plan all the festivities!

Menu ideas that are ready to go!

So blessed to have such an awesome, loving friend!
