WIWW.. Last day at 29!

Today is my last day being a twenty-something year old.

I'm not going to lie at moments I have had a tad bit of a hard time believing this.

I think the reason why I have had those tough moments is because of how time has flown by SO FAST and it's only going to continue flying by.

WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE??

One thing that I realized today, after seeing a handicap man working out in the gym-- he was doing leg press, riding the stationary bike, and holding himself up on the smith machine-- is I have nothing to complain about.

And don't get me wrong.. I am NOT complaining. I just feel like I have blinked and BAM, I am turning 30.

I am ALIVE.

I am HEALTHY.

I am BLESSED.

Coach says when he turned 30 he said

 "The next 30 years are gonna be better than the last."

Can I get an AMEN??

I ABSOLUTELY looooovvveeeeeedddd my wedding gown. 

(Just as any bride should right?)

It was PERFECT.. Coach even asked to see pics of other gowns I tried on and said the one I chose was still his favorite out of all of them. 

It just doesn't even feel right storing it in a box and never seeing it again. I still actually have it on my Mrs. Hopper hanger my mother got me as a gift. 

I even joked about wearing it while I got my hair and makeup done so I could wear it longer! Buutt, that didn't happen.. and that's okay.. I may just have to put it on one more time before I send it to the cleaners.

Silly? I don't care. 

It made me feel like a princess!

It's been cooler here in the mornings and of course HOT in the afternoons! So I thought this was a great way to transition.. Short sleeve shirt and shorts with a sweater you can shed when it starts getting warm!

Working at the salon, I try to wear the 'proper' kind of shoe for standing all day. So when I do have the time to wear my wedges or heels, you better believe I have them on!

Someone wanted to pose with me!

After a week of BLAH rainy weather the SUN came out!!

Since it was out, I was feeling a little brighter and went for a PINK shirt! (I really need to get more shirts of the tunic length. They are so comfy and I love wearing leggings.)

Coach gave me a super sweet compliment and said he really liked this color on me.. BLUSH..

He's so sweet.

This bag is one of my favorites ever! With the brown I feel like it's a nice transition into fall!

 I found her awesome page while I was blog surfing. I must say I have found some pretty awesome pages when I have the time to do so. Each Wednesday she hosts a linkup titled "What I Wore Wednesday!" I am SOOO thrilled I found this page for a couple of reasons.

1- I have been saving for our wedding (WHOOO HOOO!) so I haven't splurged much on fashion these past few months (which btw I think has been the hardest thing for me ever to be disciplined to not detour off into the mall.. I have had a slight shopping problem for a while now. BUT, I have gotten better recently.. I swear) When I found this page I started thinking of what I had in my closet already that I could try and duplicate! It is so much fun experimenting with different looks!

2- I am LOVING seeing everyone's unique style! Simple as that!!

If you haven't read yet that I am addicted to Pinterest, let me just go ahead and tell you.. I am addicted to Pinterest. 

So my outfit today, is inspired by this outfit here:

I have always been hesitant about putting black and brown together, but I LOVE this combo!

I already had a similar jean shirt, almost black pants and a brown belt! It's not technically 'boot season' yet, (and anyways with these hot temps, if I wore them, I would roast) so I chose black sandals. 

I accessorized with gold hoop earrings and one of my favorite necklaces I got from Franchescas a few years ago...

And these gold bangles. Just a few to keep things simple.

The whole black and brown thing together really made me step out of my box (although it was just the belt and not the brown boots also) but it was fun and I got a couple of compliments today too!
