EATING
On September 16th, I felt like it was time to start you on some baby foods! I made you apples, sweet potatoes and sweet peas. The first couple of times I fed you, you did really good and seemed to be taking it all in. Since then, you really haven't seemed interested and most of it just comes back out of your mouth. Some days we try and some days we don't but I still don't think you are ready. You are doing great with your milk still and it hold you most of the night.
You have been consistently taking 6 oz, except for maybe one snack in the afternoon and its 4 oz, you will take your final bottle around 8 or 8:30pm sometimes later, and then you are in bed by 9:30-10. If you do wake up, its around 5 or 5:30AM, but you are starting to sleep until 8 and then you take another bottle at that time.
I guess when you start waking up every 4 and then 2 hours, (like your sister did), we will REALLY know its time!
I LOVE to snuggle with you! You are the best snuggles ever getting your neck all nestled into mine or my chest. You do not take a Paci but rather sing yourself to sleep and every now and then you will find your thumb.
I love seeing the differences between you and your sister. All babies are different. One thing about y'all is you are definitely happy babies!
This particular afternoon, you were so fussy and wouldn't go down for a nap. You were not comforaable anywhere so I finally laid you down in this and you napped for a very long time! This cracked me up where your hands are! Ha!!
Then we woke up all happy happy happy!
Finley loves you so much and is always trying to make you smile!
Game Day with my girls!!
We got to hand out again while Fin Fin napped after church. Loved this outfit of yours and this bib. I have no idea where it came from but its so cute!
You have started grabbing your toes and grabbing your feet and into your mouth they go! I wish I was that flexible! My my!! Everyday is starting to be something new with you. Time is going so fast and I'm so thankful I"m able to be home and see your and your sister grow up during this time that flies so quickly.
SLEEP
You are sleeping very well in my opinion! Your bed time is about 9pm or shortly after, you are back up between 5 and 5:30AM and then back up around 8 ... IF you don't sleep all the way thru.
Nap times are sporadic but you do take a nap consistently around 10:30am. The afternoons always seem like its hit or miss just like when you were a little colicky. It has definitely gotten better tho!
Most mornings, I will get Finley up first from her crib, and then we will make our way to get you. Your cribs are right across from each other in opposite rooms, so y'all can see each others crib very well. One of the first things Finley says is "Sissy"!! And then she wants to get in your "bed". So we do and she LOVES seeing you first thing in the mornings! She hugs you and kisses you and then lays beside you. I pray y'all are this close and love each other all the time like this. It just melts my heart.
3 AMIGAS
The 3 Amigas are really in their own world these days. I've had to get onto Kyli SEVERAL times lately for licking you in the mouth! AAHHH!!! She sneaks and slowly creeps her way towards you. So gross. It's hard to get pictures of y'all together because we have been telling Kyle to get off the couch these days because its new and we don't want it ruined. She likes to sit on the back of the couch and the cushions get crushed. So Finley has been picking up on everything these days and SHE has started telling Kyli "off".
I'm way too excited in this picture and way too tan too! Ha! Mommy had just gotten a spray tan. You had found yourself in the mirror and you just cracked up! It was the cutest!
Morning time with Daddy! This latest about 5 seconds because you were not happy laying down. That is one thing different about you and Finley. We could give her a bottle in the mornings and she would pass back out. You are wide awake and ready to go!
Afternoon with Mommy! I think your teeth were definitely bothering you this particular day. You were not very satisfied and you could just see it all over your face and in your eyes. You did not object either to rubbing your gums.
For you not to have a nap you sure were happy though! You kept me busy busy this day!
WHAT FALLYN IS UP TO
You love having a lovey to chew on and hold. I can always get you to laugh and smile when you are laying in your boppy.
You love trying to grab these off your Mamaroo. Its so cute to watch you and you will even be talking to it.

// you started reaching with your arms for us, you have started following us with your eyes and turning your head towards us when we walk out of the room or around the room, and you have started pulling yourself up to sitting position in your swing seat Whitney let us borrow (so we are returning that one)
Fallyn, we are so thankful you are here with us completing our family. I'm so thankful too that Finley has a sister and will have each other to grow up with and have each other. It's so fun watching you grow into your own personality -- you are such a joy and your smile is contagious! You light up when we talk to you and have started getting so excited and showing it as your little mind develops. Mommy sure does love cuddling with you and Daddy loves to see you smile and talk to him. Your personality is so sweet and we've even had people tell us how sweet you and your sister are. We love you so much and so thankful God has trusted us with you both.
