Make Yo Pizza at Home

homemade pizza gluten free crust

Coach LOVES some pizza and it was just what was on the menu last night.
I am not trying to toot my own horn but it was SOOOOO YUMMY!
The last time I tried to make our own it was not good... like Coach wouldn't even eat it and it went in the trash. NOT really sure what happened but maybe just maayyyybeee I have redeemed myself?

TO DO:

Follow the instructions for the Pizza Crust.
It calls to bake the crust for 5-7 minutes..
I took it out and added in this order:

tomato paste
cheese
pepperoni
onions
green peppers
red peppers
pineapple
olives

Continue to bake for said time and you have got you one delicious pizza!

Not complete without a Ceasar salad!

romaine lettuce
parmesan cheese
black pepper
croutons
ceasar dressing

Definitely gonna be making another one.. next time I may try and get all fancy with a BBQ Chicken for something a little different!

Sunday Funday Fall Festival 2014

For as long as I have been a Hopper... getting close to 2 years now... me, Connie, and Tracie have made our way over to the HUGE city of Hoschton for their fall festival. This year, Amber joined us! YAY!
We had the most fun walking around and checking out all the fun stuff!

One of the first things we saw was the Dock Dogs competition event. I have never seen this before and it was something to watch! Some of these dogs had serious springs in their legs.. Especially the one in the video below.
This German Shephard was absolutely beautiful. I want a Bull Terrier like something fierce but the GS may come in a close second.

Sometimes my phone catches a video sideways so sorry for the angle but I couldn't resist sharing. We watched this one make her run twice and she seemed to almost clear the pool!

One thing I learned from this festival is I need to teach our dogs a few new tricks. This sweet girl below carried her own leash! I could never get a good picture because she was ON THE MOVE! We saw her later and her owner would just drop the leash and she would happily pick it up and carry it.
HA!

I hope these sweet pups got a break.. they were so well behaved.

One of my faves! I see pottery in our future.
I would love for the 3 Amigas to have their own bowl!
Definitely prettier than the boring silver ones.

I was soo proud of myself! I wasn't going to buy anything but besides our lunch and fresh home grown local veggies I only made ONE purchase...

DRUM ROLL PLEASE

Y'all know I CANNOT resist any kind of BLING!!
Fake or real diamonds are a girls best friend!

Coach came home from baseball and asked me what I bought.
Me: "A bracelet."
Coach: "That gaudy one laying on the bathroom counter?"

Yes Coach. That would be the one.

What I'm Loving Wednesday // It's Fall Y'all!

Oh my goodness!!
If you aren't experiencing some of these cooler temps yet that are introducing us to fall, I am sooo sorry! Well only if you are looking forward to cooler weather These past few mornings have been ABSOLUTELY ammmaaaaazing! The air is so refreshing and I can actually breathe!
Whoop whoop!!

Anyway, it's past 11 here and I am just posting WILW oops a little late BUT I am sooooo excited about fall that I just couldn't wait any longer to share with you a few of my latest fall pins from, yes.. you guessed it.. Pinterest.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. these boots.
Get in muuhh closeettt!

I have been so slack y'all I don't even have a fall wreath on our front door.
You may be looking at my next project.

Apparently, these days, I am obsessed with Free People. I didn't even realize that's where this poncho was from until I went to write this post. However, I will NOT be paying $400 for this.
Nope.
No way Jose.
I  do love the fringe tho!

A couple weeks ago,  I finally got my hair done and started working on my ombre for my fall do.
I am still loving it after all this time.. call me crazy I just always love going back to having a root.
This color is GORGEOUS! My hair has gotten pretty long but I would LOVE for it to be this length. Now my husband on the other hand, I think is ready for me to chop the locks. He is one of the few men who likes the short hair.

Anybody getting married anytime soon?
I was supposed to have an entrance similar to the doors and when I got to the wedding site for our first look this was not set up at all. Totally bummed. Not sure if this is fall but it's completely gorgeous to me.

I realize this has nothing to do with fall but how cool is the tin? Not sure if Coach would let me do this in the laundry room but I need something to fill the empty wall space above our washer and dryer. We have discussed cabinets but shorty over here wouldn't be able to reach them without a stool. I already need one for the kitchen.
Trip to Hobby Lobby soon?

And I just want to try this eye look!
So much fun trying something new!

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!
What are you looking forward to most about the new season??

Oh hey FRIDAY

Here you are again!
And I am going to hopefully not be too annoying in apologizing for not being here the past week.. what can I say.. life just happens and I just can't get here at times. Thanks for hanging in there with me!

Speaking of Friday, linking up for the first time today with The Farmer's Wife and September Farm for oh hey Friday.

1.
I saw this earlier this week and absolutely loved it. I even saved it on my phone for a reminder to myself.

2.
Soooo, my senior session that I did a few weeks ago may be the beginning of something new! One of my sweet coworkers and dear friend wanted to get her sons 6 year old pictures made. Sunday they came over to the farm, we fought the rain, and got them done! Here are just a few shots of this precious boy and his sweet Mama. I still have a lot to learn and would love another lens for my camera, but I humbly say I am so proud of these!

3.
Is it just me or have we had some AMAZING clouds and sunsets lately? I mean the skies have just been absolutely amazing to me. I tried to sit in the yard Wednesday night, try to relax, and watch this one but the 3 Amigas had other plans to want to lick me all over the face and jump all over me. No relaxing there.. I eventually just got up but captured these few pictures!

4.
My car has been in the shop.. BOO... so my Aunt and Gigi brought me home last night. Kyli loves her some Gigi!

5.
Tomorrow I will be busy doing makeup for a wedding!
So fun getting ladies all ready and dressed up for their friends big day! The bride has requested natural faces, falsies, and red lips.. I can't wait!

Have an AMAZING, BLESSED weekend friends!

A Night at ARTini's

Another fun night at Artini's in Athens!
I owed Karen a night out since she got the last one and it worked out that we were able to go last week. I was the first to arrive and we were actually the only ones that had signed up for class!

The nights painting was Manzanita Branches and we LOVED it!

We take our art work VERY serious.

Normally I will put my paintings in the salon to sell but I couldn't let this one go. It's now in our guest bathroom.

If you are ever in Downtown Athens and you have some extra time I highly recommend a night at ARTini's! The studio is such a cool and fun atmosphere!
You won't be disappointed!

Labor Day Shenanigans

Did everyone get to relax this weekend?
After having NOT the best week ever, I have to admit I was looking forward to the long weekend.

Coach and I decided earlier in the week that Friday would be our date night. He was so sweet to let me choose. Smart man, huh? Hee hee. I don't even think I need to tell y'all what I chose.. sushi. It was AH-MAZING. No pics of our delicious rolls because it was a no phone kind of night. Just me and my handsome sweet husband. I need to take the time and give him a shout out because he has truly been extremely patient with me this week. I LOVE YOU HONEY!

Saturday, I woke up bright and early to meet the farrier for the horse's pedi's. They all did so good and got a little bit of brushing while we were all there. And so much for Trio's bath the other day. He was already covered in dry sweat!
Shane had practice Saturday afternoon, and as soon as he got home he got ready pretty fast and we made our way to a friend's house to watch the game.
HOW 'BOUT THEM DAWGS?
What an awesome game! I guess I was so excited about it I FORGOT to get a pic of me and Shane. Boo.

Sunday Shane had SURPRISE practice and me and the pups just hung out at home. I did NOT go anywhere except to the pool.. AKA see the below. HA. Hey it worked and surprisingly the heat wasn't that bad. I spy a little four-legged someone who enjoyed it!

Today, Coach and I hung around the house with each other. It was so awesome to be with each other, at home, just hanging out together, ALL day. Oh and don't forget the 3 Amigas too! They have done so good about staying in the back yard and not venturing out near the road.
Coach made us breakfast, quite yummy... even surprised me with orange juice in bed. He suggested he would bring breakfast to me in bed but that probably would have been a mess with Kyli wanting to jump on the bed. Raincheck on breakfast in bed babe?
Later on, I worked on some crafts on the porch enjoying some fresh air.

I have had a variety of plates, vases, and teacups from Connie that I have been gluing together for use as cake/cupcake stands and such. The past ones I did turned out really cute and Whitney from work bought two of them for her daughters 2 year Shabby Chic party. Sooo adorable!
I don't know if you can tell but the green in the plate matches this goblet perfect.

Coach took a break from cutting grass and we made our way to the gym for a workout.
He put us through a little leg routine and I may or may not be able to correctly walk tomorrow.
Can't wait for him to show me some arm workouts!

It came a DOWN POUR while we were at the gym. Like the power went out and everything. Coach thinks it must have been Couple's Day too because there were so many couples working out today!
We enjoyed more of the rain back home and I continued on finishing my crafting for the day. These two amigas weren't far from me all afternoon. Sweet babies.

We haven't been to the pond in quite some time so we decided on a little trip. It was SO PEACEFUL. And the clouds were amazing after the thunderstorms.

Everything was so GREEN!! Just beautiful after the rain.

Coach decided on his fishing pole at the last minute and almost caught one too.

While Coach was fishing I was just looking around for photo ops. I spotted this on the ground! Thankfully we didn't run into any of these alive. Yikes.

Love this bright red leaf. The only one I saw. A sign of fall y'all!

Sunset on the farm!

I have also been working on editing some Senior pictures::

I'm still SOO NEW at the editing part. It has been fun tho playing around with all the different effects.
What do you guys think?
Any photographers out there that could give me any constructive criticism?
Thank you in advance!
