Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

1. What is your favorite type of workout to do?

Right now I am doing the Jamie Eason Live Fit Trainer from Bodybuilding.com.
Tomorrow I start Day 22 of Week 4.
Every day its a different workout which I love because I can bored very easily doing the same thing. Some of the exercises are new to me too which also helps keep my interest.

2. What is your favorite guilty pleasure candy or sweet?

I would have to go with Reese's Cups. And the Easter cups are the best.
Next I would go with Oreos and milk. I could probably finish a whole box by myself.
That's why there are NONE in the house.

3. What is one thing you continuously forget to do?

Nothing is really coming to mind right now.. but if you ask my husband he may be able to tell you something. Hee hee.

4. Do you prefer post-its or phone reminders? Why?

Post-its. It's right in front of me and I won't forget it if I constantly see it.

5. What is your favorite picture currently on your phone that always makes you smile?

Coach snuck this one in right as I was taking the picture.

Happy Easter All!

HE IS RISEN!!!

And he said to them, "Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.
Mark 16:6

and (Jesus) said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Luke 24:46-47

This morning Coach and I got up and attended the 11:15 Service at our church.
I loved every second of it.
The praise team did such an awesome job with the music and the message was powerful.

We sang one of my favorite songs this morning:

I hear the Savior say, Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray, Find in Me thine all in all.

Chorus:
'Cause Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

Lord, now indeed I find Thy pow'r and Thine alone,
Can change the leper's spots and melt the heart of stone.

'cause Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
my Sin had left this crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

It's washed away! all my sin,
and all my shame

And when before the throne I stand in Him complete,
"Jesus died my soul to save" my lips shall still repeat

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
(Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow)2x
(He washed it white as snow)2x

(O Praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead)5x
well praise the one who paid my debt and raised this life up from the dead
Jesus(2x)

After church we met up with my Mom and my baby brother for lunch.
Such a good time!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Sassy Sewing is Born

So my BFF can sew the mess out of some fabric.
She makes custom kids clothes, from Pillowcase Dresses, Shortalls, Tutu's, Belts you name it.
I had mentioned way back when that I would love to have my very own sewing machine.. and that's just what I got as a wedding gift.

I. Was. So. Excited.

And because she is the best ever and gives THE best gifts, I received this Amy Butler book below for Christmas...

.. and for my first project will be attempting to make the hand bag on the cover.

The book is absolutely awesome.
It gives you so many tips, starter information on fabrics, lists of basic tools you will need for every project and the list goes on!

Last Monday we were able to get together, pull this baby out of the box, and get to it!
I pretty much just learned the basics, she gave me a tutorial, and after initially sitting down in front of it and staring for a good 15 seconds, I finally got my hands on it.
I wound my first bobbin, threaded the machine, and even practiced on a scrap piece of fabric.
I don't think my first time was too shabby at all.
Well, since home ec in HS.. and let's just face it.. THAT has been a while.

Tuesday I had a chance to go to Hobby Lobby and picked out fabric for my first project!
I was soooo proud of myself and Amber said I did awesome for my first time!

I needed three different patterns.

The white flower fabric will be for the exterior..
the brown/teal fabric will be for the handle, side pocket lining, button, and button loop..
And the lime/white will be for the lining.

I still have a few more items to get but I plan on getting started on my day off Saturday!

Who knows how long it will take me but I promise to update when it's finished!

Happy Wednesday All!
A little late..

I am loving my Target shoes for spring/summer..

I am loving that I got to spend time with the BFF for her Birthday Saturday night..

I am loving that tomorrow it's supposed to be 63!!

I am loving that Team Elite Baseball family is headed to the Braves opening game on Monday..

I am loving this white outfit from Pinterest..

I LOVE white clothes.

I am loving using Organic Coconut Oil..

It is soo good for so many uses! I have a bottle in my shower. I rub it all over my body and even rub it on my face at night as a moisturizer.

Where have I been?

You may have been wondering where I have been the last few days, and if you have, let me show you.

We. Have. Been. Getting. Stuff. Done.

I don't know what got into Coach Sunday morning but it all started with a little cleaning..

What a beautiful sight.

The next thing I knew he was talking about going to Home Depot and getting supplies to finish one of our bedroom closets.
There are still a few things in the house that need to be finished and are getting there!

So we took off trucking to HD, spent a little too long in there for my liking, got all of the goods, and came home to get started!

I was given the job to stain..

..while Coach got started on the woodwork.

He had to do a little measuring first.
BEFORE
First shelf installed.

2nd installed and had to try out the space.
We had some extra helpers!!
Everytime Coach walked out.. these two made themselves at home.
I think someone was 'sunbathing'.

FINISHED PRODUCT!!

One happy, happy, happy Man!

Coach was getting into the photography BIG-TIME!

Kylee obviously had to make sure the shelves were stable. I have no other words.
She was whining and jumping to get up there and her daddy gave in and put her there.

So proud!

We alsooo added LED lighting to our vaulted ceiling!

If we had a TV in our bedroom, I don't think I would EVER leave.

My handsome hubby hard at work. So thankful he can do these kinds of things on his own!

Our Monday continued with the coat closet in the living room.
Coach added a shelf in this one for the Charter box, DVD player, and DVD's for when we finally get the TV mounted over the fire place. Can't wait for that! Coach has already even started talking about a lazy boy recliner when we get the entertainment center out of here.

We even had under counter lights picked out and a light fixture for above the kitchen sink.. BUT one of the under counter lights didn't fit and we want them all uniform so we are going to look at other options and the light fixture was defected.
Boo

How was your weekend?

Who Loves MakeUp.. Besides Me?

Two Saturday's ago, I did makeup for a wedding and what a beautiful day it was for one!
The whole time I was on my way there tho I felt like I was forgetting EVERYTHING because I normally also do hair along with makeup...
But I knew I couldn't be because I spent the night before packing all my goodies into my new case!
I have been needing wanting needing wanting oh who cares a bigger case for a while now, I bit the bullet, ordered one, and it came just in time Friday night!

it's perfect! everything has its place.

I used this company.. lots to choose from!

Makeup can be soooo much fun because you can experiment with colors, trends, try looks you have never worn before, and you can just let your artistic side flow!

Here are a few tips that I used for getting these looks::

Start with the eyes first.
Excess from the brush can fall onto the face and can be SUPER annoying to try and get off your perfect foundation you just created.
My favorite is M.A.C. Wipes to clean up around the eyes.

Do a nude lip when the eyes are super smokey.
There's not SO much color going on and it creates balance.

When creating the 'smokey eye', start in the crease with the lighter shade and then work your way up to that from the lash line with the darker eyeshadow, blending into the crease.
Finish with eyeliner and mascara. If you are going to add lashes, apply mascara to your eyelashes first. This will help the fake lashes to blend in naturally and mascara won't be caked onto them.
