What I'm Loving Wednesday // It's Fall Y'all!

Oh my goodness!!
If you aren't experiencing some of these cooler temps yet that are introducing us to fall, I am sooo sorry! Well only if you are looking forward to cooler weather These past few mornings have been ABSOLUTELY ammmaaaaazing! The air is so refreshing and I can actually breathe!
Whoop whoop!!

Anyway, it's past 11 here and I am just posting WILW oops a little late BUT I am sooooo excited about fall that I just couldn't wait any longer to share with you a few of my latest fall pins from, yes.. you guessed it.. Pinterest.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. these boots.
Get in muuhh closeettt!

I have been so slack y'all I don't even have a fall wreath on our front door.
You may be looking at my next project.

Apparently, these days, I am obsessed with Free People. I didn't even realize that's where this poncho was from until I went to write this post. However, I will NOT be paying $400 for this.
Nope.
No way Jose.
I  do love the fringe tho!

A couple weeks ago,  I finally got my hair done and started working on my ombre for my fall do.
I am still loving it after all this time.. call me crazy I just always love going back to having a root.
This color is GORGEOUS! My hair has gotten pretty long but I would LOVE for it to be this length. Now my husband on the other hand, I think is ready for me to chop the locks. He is one of the few men who likes the short hair.

Anybody getting married anytime soon?
I was supposed to have an entrance similar to the doors and when I got to the wedding site for our first look this was not set up at all. Totally bummed. Not sure if this is fall but it's completely gorgeous to me.

I realize this has nothing to do with fall but how cool is the tin? Not sure if Coach would let me do this in the laundry room but I need something to fill the empty wall space above our washer and dryer. We have discussed cabinets but shorty over here wouldn't be able to reach them without a stool. I already need one for the kitchen.
Trip to Hobby Lobby soon?

And I just want to try this eye look!
So much fun trying something new!

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!
What are you looking forward to most about the new season??

We should have a ......

It's always a good time to get together and fellowship. So why not do it by having a

Pinterest Party!

Before Christmas, my now Cousin-in-Law Christine, wanted to have a Christmas Pinterest Party but our crazy schedules didn't allow us to.

Well, last night we were all able to get together as a family and craft!

We each were to pick a craft that could be worked on for a couple of hours and a recipe for a snack.

For my project, I chose to make my own coasters!

Are these not adorable or what?

You will need:

4 square tiles from your local hardware store (4.25″ x 4.25″)

(I got mine at Home Depot for 16c each)
4 pieces of scrapbook paper (4″ x 4″)
Mod Podge
Sponge Brush

Clear acrylic sealer

I cut out 4x4 squares of construction paper
(they were actually a tad smaller because I wanted the white from the tile to be a 'border')

I then took the Mod Podge and applied it to the tile with a sponge brush...

Then squeegeed out all the air bubbles...

I let it dry and then applied a thin coat of MP Sealer on the top. Those dried for about 15-20 minutes before I applied another thin layer...

Then just add felt pads to the corners...

and you've got your coasters!

It was SUPER easy and a lot of fun!

For my recipe, I chose to do..

drum roll please...

CUPCAKES!

But these weren't just ANY kind of cupcake.. these were

OREOS IN COOKIES AND CREAM CHEESECAKE CUPCAKES

oh. my. goodness.

Ingredients:

32 Oreos- 20 left whole, and 12 coarsely chopped
2 pounds cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup sour cream
Pinch of salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Place 1 whole cookie in the bottom of each lined cup.

2. With an electric mixer on medium high speed, beat cream cheese until smooth, scraping down sides of bowl as needed. Gradually add sugar, and beat until combined. Beat in vanilla.

3. Mix in eggs, one at a time, beating to combine and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Beat in sour cream and salt. Stir in chopped cookies by hand.

4. Divide batter evenly among cookie-lined cups, filling each almost to the top. Bake, rotating pan halfway through, until filling is set, about 25 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Refrigerate at least 4 hours (or up to overnight). Remove from cupcake papers just before serving.

Check out the rest of the night from all the pics below!

All the goodies...

Christine's project--

Connie's project..

Emily's project..

Sue's project...

Judy's project..

Finished!

Such a great time I think we should have one every month!

Get your next project lined up ladies!

Pinterest Fave Finds of the Day

I had a little free time today and realized I couldn't remember the last time I have been on Pinterest..
Which is totally shocking because at one point I probably should have been in a Pinterest Anonymous group.

It was SOO good to be back browsing around!

These are my finds
and some hopefully future projects..

I LOVE this black wall.. Which I don't really think its true black.. it looks like a hint of grey is in the color if you ask me.. but I think you could totally do this if it's done the right way!
Just one accent wall of course.
And I am all about some black too..
My closet is probably 60% black with accents of color.

I am digging this outfit! I totally love the grey sweater..

How cute is this fishtail bun?
And fishtail is easier than it looks. Very doable.
Then just wrap and pin!

One more hair find.. Love these layers and the color is great too.

Who doesn't love pizza? Here is a healthier version..
-------> RECIPE

I love photography and I think this is pretty cool. Although we don't have stairs in our house or really any empty wall to try this.. Maybe an idea for a future house.

This may be my weekend project!
paint a piece of wood (could paint a solid color, or paint a design/pattern like this one), sand and distress/age the corners, then attach a regular picture frame on top.

I would love to follow you too and see your faves!
