1 Year Anniversary Pics Sneak Peek

One year later and the mantle that served as our alter was is still standing. I wanted to do something fun for our one year pictures and since this was the case, I didn't think there was a better location.

I had salvaged any cotton from the wedding I could and already had it in a vase, my rehearsal dinner bouquet was still together, I brought this small table and chairs I already had, got back into my dress with my hair piece, put Coach into his rehearsal dinner shirt, jeans, and boots, and we headed down to the pond.

It was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon.. almost exactly like our wedding day.

We had so much fun!
By the way, the cake was still delicious!

On the 17th One Year Ago..

I was walking down to my future..
as Carrie Underwood put it.

.. To the most handsome man that loves me at my best and even loves me at my worst.. We may not 'like' each other in those bad moments but there is still love.
We have had ups and we have had downs, but there is one thing certain, I wouldn't want to be sharing any of those moments with anyone else. Like I have said before, you couldn't get rid of me even if you tried.. We are in this together Coach!

Here is a song by Matthew West my cousin sang during our ceremony-

When I Say I Do:

There must be a God, I believe it's true.
Cause I can see His love, when I look at you.
And he must have a plan for this crazy life.
Because He brought you here and placed you by my side.

And I have never been so sure of anything before,
Like I am in this momment here with you
Now for better or for worse are so much more than only
And I pray everyday will be the proof
That I mean what I say when I say 'I do'
Yeah I mean what I Say when I say 'I do'

You see these hands you hold, will always hold you up
When the strength you have just aint strong enough
And what tomorrow brings, only time will tell
But I will stand by you in sickness and in health

Cause I have never been so sure of anything before
Like I am in this momment here with you
And now 'for better or for worse'
Are so much more than only words
And I pray every day will be the proof
That I mean what I say when I say 'I do'
Ya I mean what I say when I say

Take my hand and take this ring
And know that I will always love you through anything.

And as the years march on like a beating heart
I will live these words 'til death do us part'

Cause I have never been so sure of anything before
Like I am in this moment here with you
And now for better or for worse
Are so much more than only words
And I pray everyday will be the proof
That I mean what I say when I say 'I do'
Ya I mean what I say when I say 'I do'

'Til death do us part Mathew, with one T, Shane! This first year was wonderful and may God bless us with many more!

Happy One Year Anniversary!

I have found the one whom my soul loves.

On the 13th One Year Ago..

... It was 5 days until our Big Day!

My one and only Bridal Show.

.. And my Boo had gone to a friends cabin to pick up our cotton for the guys bouts.

I still have a little bit of this cotton that I have decorated with around the house. That may have been one of my favorite details from the wedding.

On the 12th One Year Ago..

.. I was making Coach his favorite waffles for breakfast..
Since then they have improved and upgraded to made-from-scratch waffles and he won't even touch these.

.. Receiving this awesome gift from my Mother. I wanted to do these for all my bridesmaids but it just wasn't in the budget. I was so thankful to be blessed with my own! I remember tearing up because I was so surprised and happy! ..

.. I was also busy making these personalized hangers for my girls.

Continuing on with Flashback Wedding Week tomorrow...

Flashback Wedding Week..

On November 11 of last year, I think I had officially started breathing again somewhat and having some fun at my Bridal Luncheon

The day before, I had finished my last official work day for two weeks helping with another wedding and was so relieved/anxious to get started on finishing final details for our wedding.

I still remember the delicious food and still feeling so blessed by all the love and everyone that had done so much to make it happen. I am forever grateful for everyone making our wedding time so special for me.

Can. Not. Believe. It's. Coming. Up. One. Year.

Christmas Bazaar

Yesterday was our Christmas Bazaar Open House at the Sassafras and what fun it was! There was music, delicious refreshments, and great fellowship. I believe it was a hit and I have a feeling it may happen again next year! I love decorating, especially for Christmas, so it was so much fun to walk in and see everything Christmas everywhere! Now I just need to get started at home..
Until I can post our decorations, check it all out from yesterday!

.. aaannd my camera went dead around 2:30..
Hope you enjoyed what I got!
