I'm Ashley..

And here you will find a smorgasbord of what is taking place in my life these days. Initially, one of my friends helped me get started on this small space of mine to document me and Coach's engagement. It soon became a way for our family and friends to stay up-to-date on the Future Mr. & Mrs..

A few months before our wedding, someone so generously blessed me with a Saddlebred Horse.. who I have since named Trio.

He is one fat, happy boy now.

sad update.. Trio has since passed. 

I was born and raised in a small Southern town, graduated from high school, put myself thru Cosmetology school, and have been a Hair Stylist for, well, we won't get into how long I have been in the industry. Let's just say it has been awhile. I absolutely love the people I work with and love my clients. It makes it not seem so much like actual 'work'. 

Fast forward to December 2011, I got engaged. Fast forward again to November 2012, I got married. Fast forward one more year and I am now living with my best friend in an almost 100 year old farm house. I absolutely love it! It's so peaceful here at home and the sunsets are breathtaking. In taking advantage of being on a 'farm', I decided that we needed chickens for fresh eggs. Enter surprising Coach with Bo, Poppie, and Sandie. Go on over and meet them and see the pretty eggs they are now laying!

In December 2014, we got one of the biggest surprises of our lives!
We are having a baby!
