It's that Time...

Snowboard, meet my Blogger friends..

Blogger friends, meet my Snowboard...

We have had some AWESOME times..

And NOT so fun times...

(these last two pics are not mine but I have done both-- I have been "that" chick)

I even think at one point I blacked out.. I mean I fell so hard on my back neck, my goggles AND my headband covering my ears FLEW OFF!! I just laid in the middle of the trail for about 5 minutes before I got up.

BUUUUUUUT....

If you have never been snowboarding, I highly recommend that you find the nearest slope.. whether you are big timin' in Vail or slidin' down the mountain on ice...

Ice you say? 

Yes.. the first time I ever went down the mountain it was covered in this unforgiving, treacherous sheet of ice.. And I lugged around about a 50 pound rental board...

And I still went back.

That's how much fun I had.

The next year I went, I thought I WAS in Vail BIG-TIMIN! It snowed and snowed.. and then snowed some more. AND, I was fortunate enough to have my own board this time.. a much lighter board I must add.

I thought I was Shaun White at the X-Games in all that snow..

That must've been the time I blacked out..

Anyhoo..

Last year the slopes were not so great on this side of my tracks and I really didn't have a chance to go..

However, this season, I.. AM.. GOING....

Even if I have to go for a day, SOLO..

It is WAY passed due and I cannot wait!!!
