Has anyone else had a problem with...

GNATS??!

It seems most peeps that I talk to are and I don't know about them but I am

O.V.A. IT!

I was at my grandmother's not too long ago and she told me about this awesome mixture that is supposed to attract them and, well, kill them. 

I have absolutely no idea where she got this recipe from and you may already know about this but from my grandmothers house to yours here is the specialty mix..

Apple Cider Vinegar

Water

squirt of dishwashing soap

cinnamon stick

apple slice 

ice

Now I didn't have the apple cider vinegar but I did have distilled white vinegar. I also found a box of Aspen Mulling Cider Spices my MIL had left from Christmas. I mixed the distilled vinegar, water, and spices, added a tad bit of soap, a few ice cubes, and topped it off with 3 apple slices.. and said a little prayer that my mix would work.

(I'm not sure why I added three I guess it was just the magic number)

Let me just say that it DOES!! 

This mix has only been by the sink for two days and you can already see a few in the bottom of the vase. (Sorry I know that's gross.) Our first batch that I made and sat out worked like a charm too!
